Tyler O’Hara To Race In 2021 King Of The Baggers Championship
Last year’s King of the Baggers Invitational winner Tyler O’Hara announced yesterday on his social media channels that he is all-in to compete in the three-round 2021 King of the Baggers Championship.
“Very excited to announce I will be racing for (the) Mission Foods S&S Cycle Indian Challenger team in the King of the Baggers National Championship,” O’Hara said. “This is an opportunity I’m not taking lightly. I’m all in, striving to be the best motorcycle racer possible. My path has led me to this amazing opportunity. I’m very appreciative and grateful to everyone involved in this program and everyone who has helped me along the way. Racing motorcycles for an American motorcycle manufacturer (Indian Motorcycle) is a dream come true. My goal is to enjoy the ride and have fun. I think I finally found my niche. Always forward, never straight.”
O’Hara, who lives in Petaluma, California, is an accomplished motorcycle racer with a long and illustrious career that includes race wins in both AMA and AFM road racing, as well as motocross, flat track, and supermoto. He’s been riding motorcycles since he was five years old and started racing professionally in 2005.
Last year at Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca, O’Hara was fastest in every King of the Baggers Invitational practice session, earned the pole position, and won the eight-lap race by nearly a two-second margin aboard his S&S Cycle Indian Challenger.
The 2021 King of the Baggers Championship kicks off with round one at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on April 30 through May 2, followed by Road America on June 11 through 13, and will conclude at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on July 9 through 11.
