Two-Wheel Tuesday Spotlight: #85 Altus Motorsports Suzuki GSX-R1000R Stock 1000

For the second year in a row, Altus Motorsports captured the Stock 1000 Championship, and they did so despite no longer having the services of 2020 class champ Cameron Petersen, who moved up to HONOS Superbike aboard a Team Hammer M4 ECSTAR Suzuki for 2021. As a result, Altus team owner George Nassaney signed Jake Lewis, who spent most of the 2020 season on hiatus from road racing. Nassaney’s signing of Lewis proved to be the perfect move as Lewis quickly got his MotoAmerica mojo back and clinched the 2021 Stock 1000 title on the strength of his 6 wins and 9 podium finishes out of 12 races on the season.
