Ride Vision is Ready to Launch

Ride Vision has been in the works for quite some time now, and it looks like they may be ready for the public. This aftermarket safety device acts as a standalone rider assistance system, giving the rider an alert of potential dangers on the road. This can help riders avoid collisions and other dangers that often come with riding a motorcycle.

The company was able to raise about $7 million on a crowdfunding campaign, $2.5 million from private investors, and funds from Continental and other industry veterans. With $10 million of funds, Ride Vision was able to have their product ready for launch, for motorcyclists and scooterists.

The product functions similarly to the blind spot systems found on most late model cars and even some new motorcycles. Ride Vision gives the rider visual cues to any obstacles on the road, so the rider can take the appropriate action. The non-invasive system will not provide anything further than visual alerts, giving the rider full control of the motorcycle.

The Ride Vision will be released in the coming months. Their website does have a spot for shops interested in becoming retailers here.
