Petersen Injured On Monday At Barber Motorsports Park, Plans To Compete At Road America
Cameron Petersen suffered a wrist injury on Monday during a test day at Barber Motorsports Park.
According to team owner/crew chief Richard Stanboli, Cameron Petersen crashed on Monday, May 22 at Barber Motorsports Park and suffered a wrist injury. Despite the setback, Petersen plans to fully participate in round three of the MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Championship at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, June 2-4.
Petersen is currently sixth in the Medallia Superbike Championship after two rounds and four races. His best result in 2023 is his runner-up finish in race one last weekend at Barber Motorsports Park. Petersen won race two at Road America last year.
