The following is from Travis Wyman Racing…

The Travis Wyman Racing BMW S 1000 RR will be back in its red and black livery for the rest of the 2021 MotoAmerica season, as Motul has renewed its title sponsorship of the team for the rounds at New Jersey Motorsports Park on September 10 through 12 and Barber Motorsports Park on Sept. 17 through 19.

The French lubricants and cleaning products manufacturer has been one of the Las Vegas resident’s sponsors since his team’s inaugural season in 2018 and was the title sponsor at the Laguna Seca round in July — an event that saw Wyman score a hard-fought Stock 1000 victory by a mere 0.032 seconds.

“Motul will forever be part of one of the most memorable moments of my racing career,” Wyman said. “I’m hoping to make even better racing memories — and hopefully lay claim to a MotoAmerica Number 1 plate — in Motul colors at the next two rounds. This is my team’s first title sponsorship deal for back-to-back rounds, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my team’s marketing partnership with Motul in the future.”

Founded in 1853, Motul has been at the forefront of the lubricants industry for more than a century. In addition to two-wheeled motorsports, the company also manufactures a wide range of products for automotive, marine, construction, commercial and agricultural applications. Among the company’s achievements are the development of the first semi-synthetic motor oil in the 1960s and the first fully synthetic motor oil in 1971.

“We’re excited to continue building momentum after the huge victory for Travis and Motul at Laguna Seca,” Motul Powersports Director Casey Thomas said. “The Travis Wyman Racing BMW S 1000 RR looks perfect in red, and we can’t wait to see it charging through the pack towards another podium finish.”

The Travis Wyman Racing team also will have new Motul-themed team T-shirts for sale beginning at the New Jersey Motorsports Park round.

After his Stock 1000 podium finish and spectacular save at MotoAmerica’s Superbikes at Pittsburgh round, Wyman remains in contention for the MotoAmerica Stock 1000 and Superbike Cup titles. In Stock 1000, Wyman is third in the class standings and one of four riders still mathematically eligible to clinch that title. Wyman is second in the Superbike Cup points and is just 35 points behind the class leader with six races to go this season.

Wyman will line up on the starting grid with his Motul-themed livery and leathers four times at each of the two remaining rounds – which are set to feature three Superbike races each.
