Mananalu Now The Official Water Of MotoAmerica And King Of The Baggers
MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, is excited to announce that Mananalu, an aluminum-bottled water company, is coming onboard as the Official Water of MotoAmerica and King Of The Baggers.
Mananalu differs from other bottled water companies in that the water is packaged in an aluminum bottle rather than a plastic one. Mananalu also has a “You Drink One, We Remove One” policy – “For every bottle of Mananalu that is sold or donated, we remove the equivalent of one plastic bottle form ocean-going waste.”
Owned by actor Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game Of Thrones, Dune), Mananalu is a certified “Plastic Negative” product with a mission of “ending single-use plastic.”
“I am stoked that Mananalu will be the official water sponsor of MotoAmerica and their 2022 race series,” said Jason Momoa. “The MotoAmerica team have been great to work with and we are inspired by their commitment to reduce their single-use plastic. Every bottle counts.”
“Aside from having great-tasting water, we felt that the sustainability program Mananalu has implemented is beneficial for everyone and we want to do what we can to promote their message,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “What really intrigues me in particular is the understanding that only 9% of plastics are recycled where 75% of all aluminum mined is still currently in use. It’s an amazing statistic when you think about it. We look forward to working with Jason (Momoa) and his Mananalu team to build awareness of their product and initiatives while introducing the MotoAmerica series to their audience.”
