We’ve reached the ninth and final round of the 2021 season, and there a few riders aboard different motorcycles this weekend, so we thought we’d give you a rundown:

Stefano Mesa, Robem Engineering/MESA37 Racing Aprilia RSV4 1100

Along with competing aboard his MESA37 Racing Kawasaki in Supersport this weekend, Mesa has put together a one-off deal to test an Aprilia RSV4 1100 in Stock 1000 for Robem Engineering. Robem, who has become the de facto Aprilia team in the paddock with their multi-bike RS 660 effort in Twins Cup. Mesa will practice, qualify, and race the Aprilia literbike in Stock 1000, but since it’s only a test, his result will be disallowed.

Toby Khamsouk, Toby K Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000

Speaking of Robem Engineering, on of the team’s former Twins Cup riders will make his debut in, you guessed, it Stock 1000 this weekend aboard a Suzuki GSX-R1000. The lanky Californian was always a little too big for the somewhat diminutive RS 660, and he’s been riding the Gixxer at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway to train for his literbike debut. “I’m looking forward to learning Barber Motorsports Park on this new bike and racing with the guys in Stock 1000,” Khamsouk said. “It’s going to be a great and new experience, but I’m excited for the weekend.”

Jason Aguilar, Superbike Unlimited Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR

Superbike Unlimited Racing, who made their MotoAmerica Superbike debut last year with Andrew Lee in the saddle of their Kawasaki ZX-10RR, has former Superstock 600 champion and Supersport rider Jason Aguilar in the saddle of their Yamaha YZF-R1 for this weekend’s three HONOS Superbike races.

Geoff May, Geoff May Racing/VisionWheel.com Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP

Former AMA Superbike and World Superbike rider Geoff May, who raced his Honda in Stock 1000 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, VIRginia International Raceway, and Road America earlier this season—notching three podium finishes in just five races—is competing in Stock 1000 at Barber, which is one of his favorite tracks.

Danny Eslick, Disrupt Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000

Disrupt Racing, who fielded Andrew Lee and Jason Farrell on Kawasaki ZX-10R’s earlier this season, and then had Hayden Gillim race for them at Pittsburgh International Race Complex aboard a Suzuki GSX-R1000 in August, will have Danny Eslick aboard their Suzuki this weekend at Barber.

Talk about “disrupt racing.”
