The Cruisin’ Rodeo celebrates its 21st birthday: the appointment with the 2024 edition of the tricolour maxi-meeting dedicated to American cars is set for the weekend of 6-7 July in Como

Italy’s largest gathering of American cars is preparing to blow out its twenty-one candles. We are talking about the Cruisin’ Rodeo, the maximeeting of cars born in the USA that every year brings together hundreds of four-wheel enthusiasts in ‘Yankee’ sauce, as well as the main Italian clubs dedicated to the jewels of the American automotive industry. The appointment, for this 2024, is set for the weekend of 6-7 July in the beautiful location of the Driver di Como.

Launched in the summer of 2004 (it was the 4th of July, a date not chosen at random) as a Cruisin’ Magazine readers’ rendezvous, this star-studded rendezvous quickly became one of the most important red, white and blue events on the national scene, establishing itself as a simply unmissable appointment for every fan of American cars and muscular V8s.

And it is again Cruisin’ Magazine, in collaboration with the federated ASI club CNO American Motors, that organises this 21st edition, which will once again take place at Driver Como (Via P. Paoli 114, Como). A location that guarantees not only ample outdoor space for hundreds of cars, but also an ‘American’ atmosphere that perfectly matches the spirit of the event: a total of four floors of pizzerias, restaurants, beer gardens, steak houses and cocktail lounges.

Between a chat between fans and some tasty snacks, it is also possible to challenge friends on the outdoor/indoor go-kart tracks and for the little ones there is a dedicated playground area.

Hundreds of cars made in the USA will be present from all over Italy and neighbouring countries, in particular Switzerland, France, Austria and Germany: an authentic wave of muscle cars, pick-ups, maxi-berliners, pony cars, pre- and post-war classics, but also customised vans, Jeeps, off-roaders of all kinds and flashy hot rods, to which will be added iconic cars that have appeared in the most famous films and popular TV series. The most original, rare, best preserved or restored vehicles will be awarded at the end of the event by Cruisin’ Magazine, Kustom World and CNO partner American Motors Club (ASI).

As per tradition, entry is free, and all those who participate with their American car will be given a Welcome Bag!
