Caricasulo takes pole with the Caberg GP01 at Cremona!
Caricasulo has chosen to protect himself with the Caberg GP01 in the 2025 WorldSSP championship. At Cremona he achieved pole while flaunting a special tricolor graphic! Caberg’s commitment to racing increases.
The new tricolor graphic, specially designed and prepared for home round Cremona, brought luck for Federico Caricasulo, who has chosen to protect himself with the Caberg GP01 helmet in this season’s Supersport World Championship. On Friday 2 May, after a free practice session, the Italian rider took part in Superpole and secured pole position aboard his MV Agusta F3 800 RR! This is his first pole of the season and the thirteenth of his career.
A great result for the Motozoo ME AIR Racing Team rider and for Caberg, which has chosen the Italian not only as an ambassador in the production-derived world championship, but also as a tester for the development of its new racing helmet. Further confirmation of both the safety and excellent performance of the GP01 came in the World Endurance Championship, with the helmet reaching the podium of the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours with rider Kevin Manfredi!
Made with a sophisticated fiberglass and carbon shell, the Caberg GP01 embodies all the technology and experience of the Bergamo-based company, which last year celebrated 50 years of activity. Tested by historic Caberg rider Massimo Roccoli among others, the GP01 is the Italian company’s racing helmet and has double ECE 22.06 and FIM LEVEL 2 approval.
The internal shell is double density while the Chin Shock Absorber on the chin guard absorbs and dissipates the energy resulting from any impact to the chin in the most effective way.
The anti-scratch visor, on which Pinlock 120 Maxivision is applied, has rainproof profiles, a quick release fastening system and a particularly useful lock for use on the track.
The ventilation system has been specifically designed to allow a continuous flow of air inside the shell, with palpable benefits even at low speed. Internal comfort is guaranteed by the removable and washable padding. There is also a quick removal system for the cheek pads in case of emergency, and a removable wind stop.
The sturdy strap has an aluminum double ring closure, in perfect racing style.
In addition to its exceptional safety, riders appreciate the Caberg GP01 for its low weight, its aerodynamics and the wide field of vision it offers the user.
The Caberg GP01 comes with CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID technology as standard.
Many riders are using Caberg in the world and national championships once again this year. In addition to the aforementioned Federico Caricasulo and Kevin Manfredi, riders include talented youngster Adrian Torres, competing in the Supersport 300 world championship (twice on the podium in the debut races at Portimao), Raffaele Fusco in the MotoE World Championship and 2024 European champion Natalia Rivera, who is making her debut in the women’s WCR world championship, while experienced riders Simone Saltarelli, Samuele Cavalieri, Bruno Ieraci and the promising Mattia Sorrenti compete in the CIV Italian championship.
